DVD region switching is automatic, simply play the disc and the device with switch to the appropriate region. Blu-ray zone selection is performed by simply pressing the numbers key 1, 2 or 3 corresponding to zone A, B or C. The device will the remember your selected Blu-ray zone until you decide to change it.

Future firmware updates can be upgraded using a network connection in the usual way without affecting the MultiRegion functionality of the device.
